Liam Neeson's return to the Canadian set of Chloe just days after saying his final goodbye to wife Natasha Richardson was a "harrowing experience" for all involved, says the movie's director. "He called me and said, 'You know let's do it right away.' It was really emotional," Atom Egoyan tells ET Canada. "I think the only way he could have come back was right after because his family was all there to support his boys.""Liam is heroic," adds Egoyan. "He came back and finished." Neeson, 56, who has signed on for his first movie role since Richardson's death at age 45, is still "in a state of shock," says Egoyan. "I think he's trying to absorb ... He's suddenly a single parent with absolutely no preparation for that," says the director. But Neeson, he adds, "is surrounded by people that really love him. There is a lot of support."

Forget it, Jake. It's Casting Tidbits. After hearing about "Chloe outlet" casting for Martin Scorsese's adaptation of the children's book The Invention of Hugo Cabret, we now have kids joining the cast as Deadline New York says Chloe Moretz (500 Days of Summer, Kick-Ass) and Asa Butterfield (The Boy in the Striped Pajamas) have signed on for the story of 12-year old Hugo Cabret (Butterfield, above right), an orphan, who lives in the walls of a Paris train station in 1930. Moretz will be playing the lead female role of an eccentric, bookish girl named Isabelle who enters Cabret's life while he tries to solve the mystery of a broken robot.I do not suppose that I have attained to obscurity, but I should be proud if no more fatal fault were found with my pages on this score than was found with the Walden ice.

Southern customers objected to its blue color, which is the evidence of its purity, as if it were muddy, and preferred the Cambridge ice, which is white, but tastes of weeds. The purity men love is like the Chloe bags which envelop the earth, and not like the azure ether beyond.Next, Deadline New York also learned Amanda Seyfried (Jennifer's Body), Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Mission: Impossible 3) and Orlando Bloom (Pirates of the Caribbean films) will star in Albert Nobbs, a drama following a woman (Glenn Close) who poses as a man in order to find work and survive in 19th Century Ireland. She becomes enmeshed in an unusual love triangle. After 20 years of gender-faking, she finds herself confined to a prison of her own making. Michael Gambon and Janet McTeer also star in the film that has every bit of calling back to Yentyl or even further back to Twelfth Night from Shakespeare.
